The response of celebrities to the Coronavirus pandemic has been all over the internet. Pop artists like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, and Taylor Swift, pled their fans to stay at home and follow the government’s social distancing requirements.

However, no amount of money can spare the rich and the famous from the aggressive respiratory virus. Everyone is at risk of being carriers, getting infected, transmitting the virus. This is mainly the reason why social distancing is very important now and in the coming days. The COVID-19 virus is continuously spreading for weeks now and people cannot find out who has already been infected unless they show symptoms weeks after they contacted the disease. But if mass testing will be widely available in regions where the virus’s spread is severe, health care workers will be able to know who has been infected without waiting for the symptoms to show. Celebrities, with all their fan meetups and jet-setting, might have even increased the risk of infection to the general public.
