Private jet travel is so addicting that one who has experienced it simply can’t get enough. The experience is so pleasant travelers may start planning their next trips as soon as they leave the terminal. Of course, they would want to try more or something new the next time. So, reading blogs and articles about private aviation gives joy to these aviation enthusiasts. However, email lists of private jet charters and jet card companies tend to focus on sales. They tell you about empty leg discounts and short-term incentives they offer. Likewise, they will try to convince you to buy jet cards or charter airplanes. There’s nothing bad about those. No customer would not like to see the current promos that can help them save money. But, that is not the type of content they would like to see every time.
Fortunately, many private aviation providers have expanded their website and newsletter content. From time to time, they may add those to their articles, but they are not the main focus of the blog. Instead, they provide educational content about private flights, insider information, or even ideas on where to go on your next vacation. These are the things customers would like to read.
Here is a list of private jet charter or card company blogs that would keep you entertained.
Sentient Jet
The company claims to invent jet cards. Whether that claim is true or not, it does not change the fact that they post pretty entertaining stuff.
In 2018, Sentient Jets launched the “Atmosphere” section on its website. The “Atmosphere” further contains four subsections: Blogs, Jet Card News, Sentient Press, and @Sentient Jet.
The last one is a page filled with links to their latest social media posts. These posts feature random things like their fleet, runways, and travel destinations. But those are just samples of what you can find on the other tabs.
Unsurprisingly, the Jet Card News section contains articles where they talk about the recent happenings in the private aviation world. Examples of the recent articles at the time of this writing are about how travelers turned to private aviation during the pandemic. Another one is about how the wealthy are preparing for the next pandemic by buying private jets.
The Blogs page includes a variety of topics. There are posts about the best travel destinations at a given time. For instance, the two last “Destination GPS” posts featured the Manhattan and California beaches and ST. Kitts. Then there are also things you would not expect to see there, yet it makes sense. For example, there is a blog about the top 7 podcasts and the best cheese and wine pairings. Those could be useful on your next flights.
Last, the Sentient Press talks about the company’s recent ventures and current offers.
PrivateFly
There are so many great things about PrivateFly. First of all, it is a trusted air charter company. It is also known as the very first private aviation company that accepted bitcoins as payment. Likewise, it is known for its blogs page, which is a favorite among readers.
PrivateFly’s blogs page includes a combination of a lot of things. Some are statements that came directly from its CEO, Adam Twidell. Meanwhile, there are also articles about new aircraft models, industry top 10s, and educational content.
To paint a clearer picture, the most recent blog talks about what you should expect in private jet bathrooms. And, one of its most popular blogs is titled “A to Z of Private Planes.”
You would think with this assortment of topics, navigating its website would be difficult. Rejoice! That is not the case. You can filter the blogs either by author or by topic. Finding one that suits your interests would be easy.
Magellan Jets
The header on its blog webpage says it is your go-to resource for anything related to private jet travel and the aviation industry. One look at their actual content, and you might agree.
Magellan Jets’ website has so many articles that give important tips to travelers. For instance, a guide will let you know what to do if you want to travel with your pets. There is also a blog that delves into the differences between private flights and first-class commercial flights. First-time flyers may find these useful.
But that’s not all you can find there. Like the other sites, you can browse their page to look for travel destinations. Those who wish to buy their own private jets can also see private jet comparisons on the website.
With that said, all kinds of people interested in private aviation can enjoy their time on Magellan Jets’ blog page.
XOJet
Previously named “Arrive,” XO blogs contain a bunch of written content about all things private aviation or travel-related. These range from safety standards to the leading women in the industry to its state during the pandemic. Of course, blogs featuring famous travel destinations would not be missing. They also talk about interesting activities you can do in those destinations, such as renting out an entire Wave Pool or playing golf.
Furthermore, there are company updates from its CEO Bradley Stewart. And as expected, there are blogs about the perks they offer their members.
Air Partner
UK-based on-demand charter and private jet card seller Air Partner also has a diverse blog page. Basically, it does what the other four on this list do. There are articles that talk about the company’s future plans as well as its current state. Additionally, it introduces its readers to the company’s various solutions that they could find helpful in some form or way. On top of that, there are news articles about industry firsts and the latest news in aviation.
The company also posts detailed information about the new aircraft models. And as usual, it also talks about places in the world you could and should visit.
Whether you are an experienced traveler or a first-timer in private aviation, you would be able to find good reads on these websites.
