The global pandemic has locked people in their homes. Safety measures and protocols prevent them from going to crowded places. Likewise, going out for tours is highly discouraged. All of these are done to contain the virus.
Since there are almost no passengers, this caused most airplanes to be grounded. But, as the world started to adapt, they started flying again. Particularly speaking, there was an increase in private jet flights during the pandemic. That could be attributed to the service’s model, which offers better protection against the virus.
But even with that, aviation companies that offer group tours struggled. However, that is near to being over now. As countries roll out vaccines and lift lockdowns, people are free to travel again. Of course, they are looking for a change of scenery. Having been deprived of it for months, they are now looking for the best destinations. That puts businesses like Abercrombie & Kent back to business.
Abercrombie & Kent offers an encore departure of its sold-out “Wildlife Safari: Around the World by Private Jet.”
Abercrombie & Kent
George Kent and his parents Valerie and Colonel John Kent started Abercrombie & Kent in Africa in 1962. The businesses focus on people’s love for travel and adventure. It offers them those things in a way that is as stylish as possible. Ambercrombie and Kent (A&K) pioneered a new style of luxury travel.
Today, A&K is the world’s premier luxury travel company. Its reach spans to over a hundred countries in the seven continents. It goes without saying that it opened up destinations that are previously inaccessible to leisure travelers. With Abercrombie & Kent, you can go around the world on either cruise ships or private jets. The latter will be the focus of this blog.
A&K Meeting Consumer Demands
Ann Epting, Senior Vice President, Product Development at A&K, says their guests are eager to travel now more so than ever. She states that being unable to travel for months has made them ready to “reward themselves.” According to her, the pandemic has put things into perspective. Consequently, people want to experience the places they have always dreamed of visiting. Moreover, they want to do it as soon as possible.
With private jets, people can visit seven remarkable wildlife destinations in just 24 days. That is precisely what their travel-deprived guests are looking for. So, it is hard to pass on the business opportunity.
In response to this demand, Abercrombie & Kent added more departures.
Wildlife Safari: Around the World Encore
The first “Wildlife Safari: Around the World by Private Jet” tour happened last January 10 to February 2. Now, the company announces an encore of the said tour, which travelers are excited about.
As the name implies, it is a journey where travelers go to several countries to experience the incredible diversity of Earth’s wildlife. The trip would take the travelers to 7 different countries to see iconic and endangered animals. They would be met or accompanied by the best experts to let them learn about the majestic creatures.
Their mode of transport is a customized private jet with fully lie-flat seats. That ensures that they can continue to relax while the company takes them to their next destination. On top of that, they would stay in luxurious accommodation reserved for them in advance.
Overall, it is a dreamlike experience—no wonder why it sold out last time. However, the tour is limited to 48 guests only. So, interested travelers should contact them as soon as possible to reserve a spot.
Itinerary
The “Wildlife Safari: Around the World” tour would bring the guests to seven different countries. It includes Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Madagascar, Rwanda, and Kenya.
Here are the first three countries on the itinerary to give you a taste of what the guests would experience.
-
Japan
The first destination on the list is the “Land of the Rising Sun,” Japan. Here they will go to Joshinetsu Kogen National Park in Nagano. There, they will meet the Japanese macaque – more known as the snow monkey.
The guests can indulge in different activities in Tokyo after that. Then, the day will end with a dinner celebration hosted by expert geisha.
-
The Philippines
From Japan, guests will travel to Cebu, Philippines. The province is the first Spanish settlement in the country. A day after their arrival, A&K will have them set out via private helicopter for Tagbilaran City, Bohol. En route, they will fly over the infamous Chocolate Hills. Their destination would be the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella. There, they will see the tarsiers, the world’s rarest and smallest primates, in their natural habitat.
The guests would have the freedom to choose what to do the next day. One option includes swimming with majestic whale sharks – the world’s largest fish.
-
Malaysia
After their visit to the Philippines, the guests will travel to exotic Borneo. In Malaysia, they will visit the wildlife sanctuaries in Sepilok. The journey would start with the Bornean Sun Bear Conversation Center. In this venue, they will meet 44 rescued sun bears being prepared to re-enter the wild. After that, they would go to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center – one of the best places to observe this critically endangered primate.
Now, those are only three of the countries they will visit on tour. But, surely, that is more than enough to make you eager to join.
Other Plans For 2022
If you miss your chance to join this one-of-a-kind adventure, don’t worry. A&K is previewing other popular journeys from 2022. You can choose from a number of small group journeys the company offers.
There is the 14-day Great Migration Safari in Style – limited to 18 guests. Alternatively, 16 guests can join the 10-day Botswana Safari in Style. If you prefer, you could be one of the 18 guests to go on a 10-day Egypt and the Nile journey. The list of options does not end there. With A&K, you can always find worthwhile destinations. And, the experience is elevated by the private jet you will use on the adventure.
